Testimonials

"Will and Rachel are amazing. Their fights were fluid, fun and safe. They helped advance the story and worked hard to teach our actors how to execute the choreography on their own. I've worked in local theatre for 10+ years. I have seen lots of bad fight choreography from people claiming to have professional knowledge. The result has either been safe choreography that looks lame, or somewhat stylish but highly dangerous and unprofessional choreography I've been the recipient of injuries resulting from the latter, and the risks never justify the attempts at flare and action. BattleKat did both: amazing, visually stimulating fights that the actors could safely rehearse with little to no major risk of personal injury. Even once the fights were running at full speed, every actor was able to execute these moves without a single person getting hurt. I think that speaks to the high level of detail that Will and Rachel brought to the execution of the fights. I highly recommend them.

He will always puts the well-being and safety of others first while always maintaining artistic integrity. Will has a “let’s try this” attitude that I wish I could sell in a bottle."

"In his pursuit of stage combat, Mr. Snyder is reliable and respectful, always tempering his own considerable study with the understanding that there is always more to learn... His experience, study, and patience have placed him along the path of teacher..."

He is passionate about what he does, puts incredible care and detail into his fight choreography, and is willing to work in any circumstance that is thrown at him. Will would be a great fight choreographer for your company….

…Will was positive and somehow pulled off a fantastic fight lesson for my students all the way from Tennessee. The students loved him, and they all were able to choreograph their own fights afterward using the skills and techniques he taught them. I was incredibly impressed, and I plan to have him back next year if he’s available.

Will showed great professionalism and expertise in guiding the actors through the complex steps. He was wonderful at developing an atmosphere of trust, and his focus on safety was greatly appreciated. The end result was a very believable and intense scene for audience members, but one in which the actors felt safe and comfortable the entire time.
